Remembering Dahlia Garcia

Today marks a year since the passing of six-teen year old, Dahlia Garcia. She was out camping with her parents,it was on June 13th, 2025 when she was found lifeless at the Big Bend Ranch State Park. She had been a victim of a bear attack, local PD and animal services have warned residents of the Blittington area to notify them if you spot any black bears. We had the opportunity to speak with Mrs.Garcia about her daughter's passing, "She was a light in the dark to everyone in her life. Never daring to dim herself." Dahlia was an excellent student and friend, always the bravest one around. She will forever be in our hearts and memories.
